The Players

They all play the hands they are dealt;

For there is no other way.

Under these warm golden lights are destinies formed.... and broken.

And here, each of the players are caught in a game of cat-and-mouse,

forever seeking that hand that every player seeks, the hand that means they need never play again.....

This is a Christmas present for my mother's partner, one of the many I have had to really had to change my style and approach to art with.

took researching into casinos and poker, since I haven't ever really done either.

I wanted to convey each of the player's personalities through their demeanour and their chips/card holding etc
